25.02.26 | The Lock Out Drink Driving Campaign hosts roundtable event in Parliament

On Wednesday 25th February 2026, the Lock Out Drink Driving campaign had the pleasure of hosting a parliamentary roundtable-style event attended by a coalition of road safety organisations, campaigners, policing representatives and parliamentarians to discuss the proposed changes to penalties for motoring offences, such as alcohol ignition interlocks ("alcolocks"), in relation to the Government's Road Safety Strategy. 🛣️

Drink-driving continues to claim lives and devastate families across the UK, and we must do everything in our power to bring these wholly preventable deaths and injuries to an end. 🚗 🔒

A huge thank you to Sam Carling MP for both chairing and sponsoring this event, as well as everyone who took the time out of their day to join us to discuss this important topic. 💡
